No. 01 · For the record Rachel Hurley for Tennessee’s 5th Memphis · Dem. Primary · Aug 2026

Contact · How to reach the campaign

If you need to get a hold of the campaign, here’s how.

Reply times depend on whether I’m at the Memphis HQ or somewhere across the district pulling the trailer behind me. But everything gets read.

Four inboxes. One for whatever you’ve got, three for the specific people who can actually do something about it. Pick the one that fits.

General inbox

hello@rachelfortn.com

If you don’t know who to email, email this one. Volunteer interest, scheduling, questions, arguments, press inquiries, anything that doesn’t obviously belong with the treasurer or the campaign manager. Everything gets read. Nothing gets ignored.

Email the general inbox

Press

Press inquiries go through the general inbox for now.

If you’re a reporter, send your request to hello@rachelfortn.com and Kym will route it. Include your outlet, your deadline, and the specific question. We’ll get back to you. As the campaign builds, we’ll add a dedicated press address. Until then, that’s the door.

Signal · For sensitive tips

If you’ve got something you can’t put in an email, use Signal.

The Signal username is rachelandthecity.21. Same handle I’ve used at RATC for years. Sources are protected. Receipts welcome. If it’s a tip about something happening in TN-5 or anywhere across Tennessee, I want to see it.

For anything that isn’t time-sensitive or unsafe to send by email, the general inbox is fine.

Social

Campaign social accounts coming soon.

I’m still figuring out whether to run campaign-specific accounts or just let the campaign content show up on the channels I’ve already got. Either way, the right call is the one that doesn’t make followers track six handles to get one thought. When it’s settled, the handles go here. Until then, the writing is at rachelandthecity.com and the campaign updates come through the Substack newsletter.

Mailing

The campaign mailing address gets posted once HQ is locked.

Memphis HQ is at Crosstown Concourse, Monday through Thursday. The travel trailer covers the other 16 counties Friday through Sunday. Once the official mailing address is set up, it goes here. For correspondence or physical contributions in the meantime, email Chris Swenson first.

That’s every way to reach me.

Pick the inbox that fits. If you’re not sure, the general one is fine.
